- Beat room temperature cream cheese with confectioners' sugar and vanilla until completely lump-free and fluffy, about 3 minutes with electric mixer.
- Set up assembly station with beaten egg in small bowl, cream cheese mixture, blueberry jam, and clean kitchen towel.
- Place one wrapper diamond-style on work surface. Spoon 1 heaping teaspoon cream cheese mixture into center, then top with 3/4 teaspoon jam.
- Brush wrapper edges thoroughly with beaten egg. Fold bottom corner up to meet top corner, creating triangle. Press edges firmly, squeezing out air bubbles.
- For extra security, fold two side corners toward each other and pinch to seal, creating tortellini shape. Cover completed wontons with damp towel.
- Lightly spray wontons on both sides with oil. Place in air fryer basket in single layer without touching. Air fry at 375°F for 6-8 minutes until deep golden and crispy.
Notes
Room temperature cream cheese is crucial for smooth mixing. Don't overfill to prevent bursting. Store leftovers up to 4 days refrigerated. Reheat in air fryer at 350°F for 2-3 minutes. Can freeze assembled wontons for up to 3 months - cook directly from frozen adding 2-3 extra minutes.
